We’re are well and truly into the game jam now, a little under the 62 hour mark. As with any jam some people are further on than others, some have swapped ideas a few times but I think it seems to be going well. So without further ado here’s a quick look at some of the progress that’s been achieved… #game-jam-192

Game name: 80’s Kid
Progress from last time: made some progress on new themes Arkanoid, Donkey Kong and Battlezone.
Game jam experience so far: Having great time.

Game Name: Swole Dinton’s Supermarket Strike
Game Overview: Mini golf-style game where you fire a trolley around a supermarket to collect items on your list.
Progress from last update: Movement first passed, camera in progress, level design first passed, models and textures underway, GDD created.
Game jam experience so far: Good times!

Game Name : the explorer
Basic Game Overview: Its a 3D mystery /puzzler with some combat bits
Progress: Have changed the game, made menu and have made the spawn point
Innes White
Game Name: (Sorry still working on it)
Progress from last time: I have coded all the games most basic mechanics and have started building assets
Stikkz Media
Game name: Baby Brawl
Basic Game overview: Side scrolling Beat em up with Babies (I know, I haven’t changed the idea…yet!)
Progress from last time: Some… Main menu screen in place, added a logo/title. Have the selection menu working. Have a character select working. Have basic character controls in place using gamepad. Started drawing up characters…got distracted.
Game jam experience so far in one sentence: I think the jam appears to be going well overall, I know I’m enjoying it!
Two Guys No Game
Game Name: Smashy Smashy Plant Boii (Working Title)
Progress from last time: Most mechanics done, time for polish, and actually making a game.

And that’s it for just now…again. It’s back to work for most of the competitors tomorrow so progress may slow down a little, while there is still technically more than 100 hours I don’t know how much will be used in the jam, it’ll certainly be an interesting week!
